Intuitive Monitoring

A Breath of Fresh Air for Cardiac Rehabilitation

Aermos is a comprehensive, purpose-built cardiopulmonary rehab management system designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s programs. Backed by ScottCare’s 30+ years of industry leadership and history of innovation, Aermos delivers ease of use, accuracy, reliability, data security, and cost-effective interoperability.

The Best Solutions Start by Listening

That’s why we asked the real experts—cardiopulmonary rehab clinicians—to share the challenges they face each day. What we heard was clear: fragmented systems, time-consuming documentation, and limited visibility into patient progress were not only slowing down workflows—they were making it harder to deliver the level of care patients need.

They needed a smarter system—one that works the way they do.

Introducing Aermos

This modern, scalable system simplifies documenting and reporting, enhances team collaboration, and provides real-time access to patient data.

Aermos works by wirelessly capturing a patient’s ECG signal through a lightweight, wearable transmitter and transmitting that data in real time to your clinic’s workstation or tablet. Clinicians can monitor patients continuously throughout exercise, gaining the insights they need to support safe, effective recovery.

Aermos adapts to the way your team works, helping you spend less time navigating systems and more time supporting your patients.

Aermos

Simplified by Design

Aermos features a clean, modern interface that makes daily tasks easy to navigate. With familiar elements like dropdown menus, toggles, scroll bars, drag-and-drop functionality, and a built-in spelling assistant, your team can work confidently and efficiently, with minimal training, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation.

Helpful prompts and pop-up reminders keep workflows on track without breaking your focus. Icon-style buttons and a simplified layout present key information at-a-glance—so what you need is always easy to find.

For customized documentation, Aermos includes a complimentary Microsoft Word Add-In application that lets you format and build reports your way—designed to fit the specific needs of your program.

Aermos Application Modules

Aermos is structured for efficiency, with clearly defined modules that align with your program’s workflow. The simplistic layout keeps key functions just a click away making it easy for staff to navigate, stay organized, and keep your program running smoothly.

Home Module: Your Day, At-A-Glance

The intuitive, at-a-glance dashboard in the Home module provides a real-time overview of today’s events and tasks. Quickly see when ITPs are due, review to-do lists (both past and present), and keep track of team reminders.

Check-In That Works the Way You Do

Patient check-in is fast and flexible. Whether you’re using a tablet or at the workstation, your team can check in patients—even while another class is already in session. There’s no need to assign a device right away—just add them when their session begins. And if a patient isn’t on today’s schedule, the built-in search tool helps you find them in seconds, allowing your team to stay focused and move smoothly between classes.

Patient Module: Comprehensive Patient Access, Collaborative Care

The Patient module is your centralized hub for all patient information—including class schedules, personalized reminders, historical data, ITPs, exercise prescriptions, educational classes, and reporting—arranged for easy and efficient navigation. Built for collaboration, it helps your team stay aligned by providing clear visibility of outstanding tasks and ensuring timely, coordinated updates across each patient’s treatment plan.

Monitoring Module: Robust Monitoring and Management

The Monitoring module provides comprehensive, real-time visibility of all patients—both monitored and unmonitored—on a single screen. It brings together everything your team needs to manage patient monitoring—from starting a session to transitioning through exercise modalities, editing data, capturing strips, adding clinical notes, and closing out the session.

Aermos is designed with patient safety in mind, meeting the latest FDA consensus standards and IEC requirements for ECG monitoring and alarms—giving clinicians confidence in the accuracy and reliability of every reading.

With the flexibility to make real-time adjustments, annotate progress, and document with precision, your team stays connected and in sync from start to finish. Intuitive tools for comparing and noting rhythm strips, adjusting protocols on the fly, and capturing session notes help clinicians stay engaged with patients while maintaining accurate, thorough documentation.

Aermos keeps your team focused—empowering clinicians to respond in the moment, reduce documentation delays, and deliver attentive, individualized care without disruption.

Scheduling Module: Stay in Sync with Intuitive Scheduling

The Scheduling module features an intuitive, interactive calendar that replaces static scheduling tools with a smarter, more adaptive solution. The calendar accounts for holidays, Aermos Tx device availability, and maximum class sizes, so you can build accurate, efficient schedules with ease.

It gives your team full visibility into session availability and patient assignments, streamlining coordination across staff and reducing scheduling headaches. With the flexibility to adjust appointments as needs shift, this intuitive calendar helps your program stay organized, responsive, and running smoothly.

MyClinic Module: Configure with Precision

The MyClinic module lets you tailor Aermos to fit your program. From operational settings to exercise protocols, it gives you the flexibility to customize the system to the way you work.

Aermos allows you to enter manufacturers MET formulas for unique exercise equipment—automatically calculating MET values based on your program’s specifications to support accurate, consistent exercise tracking across all modalities.

Additional features include:

  • Custom heart rate alarms to support varied patient populations
  • Reminders for patient follow-ups and assessments
  • Clinic-wide preferences that promote consistency across your team
  • Creation of default patient exercise prescriptions for each patient type (cardiac, pulmonary, PAD)

MyStats Module: See the Bigger Picture

The MyStats module gives your program a clear view of performance trends and how your patient population is responding to rehab. With configurable filters and reporting criteria, it’s simple to analyze data, tailor reports, and uncover insights that support continuous program improvement.

MyStats features the Performance Measurement Report, which provides the data necessary to achieve or maintain your AACVPR certification.
