Advantage includes digital, water resistant, WMTS band (608-614 MHz) telemetry transmitters, weighing just four ounces. Due to new FCC regulations, systems using other frequencies can no longer be guaranteed. Contact ScottCare for help migrating to WMTS band and avoid random, harmful interference.
Regulatory Advisory from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and the American Hospital Association (AHA):
WMTS is the only frequency spectrum designated exclusively for wireless medical telemetry systems. To avoid harmful interference, hospitals must migrate their wireless medical telemetry equipment out of the 460-470 MHz band by December 31, 2005 or be licensed under Part 90 of the FCC rules.
